Sealcon Elongated PG 7 / 1/4" NPT Nickel Plated Brass strain relief fittings are used to help customers in many industries when attaching wire or cable to different applications. Also referred to as a cable gland or cord grip, it provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD07CA-BR allows you to increase or decrease the size of the cable opening by switching out the standard and reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines apply a concentric seal, keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is given to your cable without damage being caused. Elongated threads are used when the cable gland goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application.
