Sealcon Elongated PG 29 Nickel Plated Brass strain relief fittings, also known as cord grips or cable glands, are used when attaching cable or wire to applications in almost any industry. It can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD29CR-BR lets you increase or decrease the cable opening by switching out the inserts. The ACME thread on the dome top is self locking, so that the overlapping splines create an even seal, keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is provided for your cable without damage being caused. Using elongated threads is common when the fitting goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application better.
