Sealcon Elongated PG 21 Nickel Plated Brass cord grips, also known as cable glands or strain relief fittings, are used to connect cable or wire to many different applications in nearly any industry. It can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD21CR-BR lets you change the size of the cable opening just by trading out the standard and reduced inserts. The ACME thread on the dome top is self locking, making sure that the overlapping splines create a concentric seal, keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is provided for your cable without causing damage. Cable glands with elongated threads are used mostly when they go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application.
