Sealcon Elongated PG 29 Nickel Plated Brass cable glands, also known as cord grips or strain relief fittings, are used when connecting cable or wire to different applications in almost any industry. It can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD29CA-BR lets you adjust the cable opening by switching out the inserts. The ACME thread on the dome top is self locking, making sure that the overlapping splines create an even seal, keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is provided for your cable without causing damage. Using elongated threads is common when the fitting goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application.
