Sealcon Elongated PG 36 Nickel Plated Brass cord grips are used to assist customers in almost any industry when attaching cable or wire to their applications. Also referred to as a strain relief fitting or cable gland, it can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD36CR-BR lets you increase or decrease the cable opening just by switching out the standard or reduced inserts. The ACME thread on the dome top is self locking, ensuring that the overlapping splines create a concentric seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is given to your cable without damage being caused. Using elongated threads is ideal when the cord grip goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application more efficiently.
