Sealcon Elongated PG 11 Nickel Plated Brass cable glands are used in many industries when connecting wire or cable to various applications. Also known as a strain relief fitting or cord grip, it provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD11CR-BR lets you adjust the cable opening size just by trading out the standard or reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top makes sure that the overlapping splines create a concentric seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is provided for your cable without causing damage. Elongated threads are used primarily when the cord grip goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application more efficiently.
