Sealcon Elongated PG 13 / 13.5 Nickel Plated Brass strain relief fittings, also known as cord grips or cable glands, are used to connect wire or cable to different applications in almost any industry. It can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD13CR-BR allows you to increase or decrease the cable opening by switching out the standard or reduced inserts. The ACME thread on the dome top is self locking, ensuring that the overlapping splines create an even seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is therefore provided for your cable without causing damage. Cable glands with elongated threads are used mainly when they go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application more efficiently.
