Sealcon Elongated PG 48 Nickel Plated Brass cord grips are used to assist customers in a large number of industries to attach cable or wire to various applications. Also known as a cable gland or strain relief fitting, it can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD48CR-BR lets you increase or decrease the size of the cable opening just by switching out the standard or reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines create an even seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is given to your cable without damage being caused. Cable glands with elongated threads are used when they need to go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application better.
