Sealcon Elongated PG 48 Nickel Plated Brass cable glands are used to help customers in many industries when connecting cable or wire to different applications. Also referred to as a cord grip or strain relief fitting, it can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD48CA-BR lets you change the size of the cable opening by switching out the standard or reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines create a concentric seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is given to your cable without damage being caused. Elongated threads are ideal when the cable gland goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the needs of the application better.
