Sealcon Elongated PG 9 Nickel Plated Brass cable glands are used to assist customers in many industries when connecting wire or cable to various applications. Also known as a strain relief fitting or cord grip, it provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD09CR-BR lets you change the cable opening size just by switching out the standard or reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines create a concentric seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is provided for your cable without causing damage. Elongated threads are typically used when the fitting goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application better.
