Sealcon Elongated PG 16 Nickel Plated Brass cord grips, also known as cable glands or strain relief fittings, are used to attach wire or cable to different applications in nearly any industry. It can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD16CR-BR lets you adjust the size of the cable opening by switching out the standard or reduced inserts. The ACME thread on the dome top is self locking, ensuring that the overlapping splines create a concentric seal, and keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is provided for your cable without causing damage. Fittings with elongated threads are used when they go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length more efficiently serves the application.
