Sealcon Elongated M50 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass cord grips are used when connecting wire or cable to applications in many different industries. Also referred to as a strain relief fitting or cable gland, it provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD50DR-BR lets you change the cable opening size just by trading out the standard and reduced inserts, increasing its versatility. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top makes sure that the overlapping splines apply an even seal, keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is given to your cable without damage being caused. Cable glands with elongated threads are ideal when they go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length more efficiently serves the application.
