Sealcon Elongated M16 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass Cord Grips, also referred to as Strain Relief Fittings or Cable Glands, are used in many industries to assist customers when attaching cable or wire to various applications. This fitting provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD16DR-BR cable gland lets you change the size of the cable opening just by switching out the standard and reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines apply a concentric seal, keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. It also ensures pull-out protection of your cable without causing damage. Elongated threads are useful when the fitting needs to go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application.
