Sealcon Elongated M16 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass Cord Grips, Strain Relief Fittings or Cable Glands are used to assist customers in many industries when attaching cable or wire to different applications. This fitting provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD16DA-BR cable gland lets you increase or decrease the cable opening just by switching out the standard and reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines apply a concentric seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. It also ensures pull-out protection of your cable without damaging it. Elongated threads are useful when the fitting needs to go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application.
