Sealcon Elongated M40 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass cord grips are used when connecting cable or wire to applications in different industries . Also known as a strain relief fitting or cable gland, it provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD40DR-BR fitting lets you change the cable opening size just by trading out the standard and reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines apply a concentric seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is provided for your cable without causing damage. Elongated threads are ideal when the cable gland goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application.
