Sealcon Elongated M40 x 1.5 Metric Nylon / Plastic cord grips, also known as cable glands or strain relief fittings, are used when attaching cable or wire to various applications in many different industries. This fitting provides a NEMA 4x 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. Cable glands with elongated threads are often used when it goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application better. Sealcon fittings feature patented overlapping clamping splines and recessed custom grommets to protect your cable from damage and the elements. The CD40DR-GY has a substantial amount of Pull-out resistance because it applies a concentric force on all points of the cable.
