Sealcon PG 16 Nickel Plated Brass cable glands are made to assist customers in many industries to attach cable or wire to various applications. Also known as a cord grip or strain relief fitting, it carries a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CF16CR-BR lets you increase or decrease the cable opening by switching out standard or reduced the inserts. The ACME thread on the flex top is self locking, ensuring that the overlapping splines create a concentric seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting and provides pull out protection for your cable with no damage caused. Cable kinking or chafing is eliminated by using the flex nut. Using fittings with elongated threads are common when they go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application.
