Sealcon PG 16 Nickel Plated Brass cable glands are made to assist customers in many industries when connecting cable or wire to different applications. Also known as a cord grip or strain relief fitting, it carries a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CF16CA-BR lets you increase or decrease the cable opening by switching out standard or reduced the inserts. The ACME thread on the flex top is self locking, ensuring that the overlapping splines create an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting and provides pull out protection for your cable without causing damage. Cable kinking or chafing is eliminated by using the flex nut. Elongated threads are used when the fitting goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length more efficiently serves the application.
