Sealcon PG 7 / 1/4" NPT Nickel Plated Brass cable glands are made to assist customers in a wide number of industries connect cable or wire to various applications. Also known as a cord grip or strain relief fitting, it carries a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CF07CA-BR lets you increase or decrease the cable opening size by switching out the standard and reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the flex top makes sure that the overlapping splines apply a concentric seal, keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. It also gives your cable pull-out protection without causing damage. Cable kinking or chafing is eliminated by using the flex nut. Fittings with elongated threads are typically used when they need to go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application.
