Sealcon PG 42 nickel plated brass hazardous location (Hazloc) cord grips are used for applications that require exceptional performance and fire resistance, which is accomplished without twisting the cable. This cable gland provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. Increase modularity by trading out the standard or reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines provide a concentric seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides pull-out protection for your cable so it causes no damage Note: Contact us about purchasing individual standard or reduced inserts
EMI/RFI Proof cord grips meet the standards for electromagnetic interference protection and reliable grounding. This standard version presses braiding against the inside wall via the integrated O-Ring. It can only be used with a braided shield. Plant equipment, control panels, railroads, and measuring and feedback systems are all applications that benefit from these types of cord grips. Hazardous location cable glands are ATEX approved, meaning they are intended for potentially explosive environments. The CD42AR-EX is designated Ex-e, for greater safety
