Sealcon M25 x 1.5 nickel plated brass hazardous location (Hazloc) cable glands are used in applications that require greater performance and fire resistance, which is accomplished without twisting the cable. This strain relief fitting provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. Increase flexibility by switching out the standard or reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top makes sure the overlapping splines create an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the cord grip & provides your cable with pull-out protection so no damage is caused. EMI/RFI Proof fittings meet the standards for electromagnetic interference protection and reliable grounding. This standard version presses braiding against the inside wall via the integrated O-Ring. It can only be used with a braided shield. Plant equipment, control panels, railroads, and measuring and feedback systems are all examples of applications that benefit from this type of cord grip. Hazardous location cable glands are ATEX approved, indicating they are made for potentially explosive environments. The CD25MR-EX is labeled Ex-e, for greater safety
