The HTP M12 Distribution Block Kit (P/N: J12R8B5-PLC-KIT) includes an M12 distribution block with built-in PLC, a right angle male 12 pin M12-USB double ended cable for programming connection, and a straight female 4 pin M12 S-Coded single ended cable for power connection. The M12 distribution block has 12 digital inputs and 8 outputs. Power connection port is M12 4 pole S-Coded male. Programming port is M12 12 pole A-Coded female. Input ports are M12 5 pole A-Coded female and output ports are M12 4 pole A-Coded female.

TaskScript Studio application runs on Windows (Windows XP to Windows 10) and is used for the entire design cycle, from sketching the first modules to deploring the code. Supported phases include:
- Modeling using graphical language - composed of a flow chart based on GRAFCET and IEC-61131-3, each step containing one or more steps, made of connections between Input/Output
- Code generation - Validates design, pointing out potential mistakes, creates a file to upload on the M12 distribution box
- Design simulation - Real time step by step simulation
- Uploading the embedded application to the distribution box - Made possible with USB connection
- Testing the design in the physical environment - Makes sure the program is running correctly
- Diagnosis of the physical environment - Makes sure the M12 distribution box is operating correctly
TaskScript Studio uses Control Flow and Data Flow programming languages. Control Flow is depicted by a sequence of steps that can be grouped by task. Data Flow indicates the data transformations that occur when a step is active. Both use graphical notation based on GRAFCET and IEC-61131-3 standards, and are integrated. Design simulation is available as a Structural and Temporal view. The environment of the controller can be simulated along with the controller itself, offering better insight into the design model.
