Cable Entry Plates

Cable entry plates and systems are available through Major Electronix. Also known as Jacob cable entry systems, they offer a space saving way to insert multiple cables for control cabinets and enclosures. Most of the cable entry plates fit 112 x 36 mm cutouts and the cables are inserted through the holes, passing through a pre-punched membrane. Different plates can accommodate a variety of cable diameters, while others have many entries for the same size cable. Some of the cable entry frames are modular in design, and use grommets to hold different size cables in place. They feature easy installation for wall thicknesses of 1.5 to 2mm. They can be mounted on walls thicker than 2mm using screws. Frames can hold 5, 10, or 15 grommets that accept varying cable sizes. Blank plug grommets can be used with the frames when not all cable entries are needed.
