One of the newest additions to the Major Electronix online store is the line of Menics tower signaling lights. Also known as stack lights, they are available in many different configurations to fit the needs of various applications. There are several different series that each has their own types of characteristics. This includes the PTE series, PLD series, PME series, MT5C/8C series, MT4B/5B/8B series, PRE series, and PTM series.

The PTE series tower lights are 56mm in diameter, and can have flashing or steady LED lights. The lights are stacked in 1-5 tiers, in red, blue, green, yellow, or clear. Tower lights with buzzers are also available. They can be pole mounted or surface mounted. The PLD series has a 25mm diameter, with up to 5 steady or flashing LED lights. The PME series is similar, except it has a different design, with a 45mm diameter. Buzzers are not available with these series. The PTM series is only 1 tier, but the light can display 3 different colors. The PTE series & PTM series have a modular system, so the parts can be easily switched out if necessary. The PRE series is similar to the PTE series, except it has a different housing design. The MT*C and MT*B series are available in different diameters, and can have incandescent or optional LED lights. The MT*B series does not include flashing lights, and buzzers are not available with this series.

These tower lights are made for signaling purposes in automation, and can indicate the status of the equipment, and alert the user to problems. Currently available online is a selection of PTE series tower lights, with more being added in the coming months. For most of the lights, they come pre-assembled, with mounting poles and bases sold separately. Tower lights from the other series can also be ordered over the phone.
