Sealcon CD48CARV Nickel Plated Brass Cord Grips, Strain Relief Fittings or Cable Glands are used to help customers in all industries connect their cable or wire to their applications. This fitting provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. This Nickel Plated Brass Strain Relief with PG 48 thread will provide your application with a product made of exceptional quality.
Modularity: The Strain Relief allows you to increase and decrease the cable opening by just swapping out the standard and reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top ensures that the overlapping splines apply a concentric seal, thereby preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & ensuring pull-out protection of your cable without damaging it. Elongated threads are used when the cable gland goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application
