Sealcon PG 16 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole strain relief fittings are used in many industries to connect cable or wire to various applications. This cable gland can achieve a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. The cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole to achieve this rating. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole. Testing may be needed to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD16APBR dome top is self locking and makes sure that the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides your cable with pull-out protection so it causes no damage.
