Sealcon PG 16 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cord grips are used in many industries to attach cable to different applications. It is possible for this strain relief fitting to attain the NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. In order to achieve this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference between the cable's diameter and the hole's diameter also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). Testing may be needed to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD16A3BR dome top is self locking, with the overlapping splines applying an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & gives pull-out protection for your cable so no damage is caused.
