Sealcon 1/2" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Cord Grips, Cable Glands and Strain Relief Fittings are used in many industries to connect wire or cable to different applications. This cord grip provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. The cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole in order to reach this rating. The difference between diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). Testing may be required to determine if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating can be reached. The ACME thread on the CD13N4BR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines create an even seal, ensuring that the form seal does not come out of the fitting. This also gives pull-out protection for your cable so no damage is caused.
