Sealcon 1/2" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Cable Glands, Cord Grips and Strain Relief Fittings are used in many industries to attach wire or cable to different applications. This cable gland provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To meet this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference in diameter between the cable and the hole also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating can be reached, however it may need to be tested beforehand to ensure this. The ACME thread on the CD13N3BR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines create an even seal and the form seal does not come out of the fitting. This also gives your cable pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
