Sealcon PG 11 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole strain relief fittings are used when connecting cable to various applications in many different industries. This cable gland is able to provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. The cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole in order to achieve that rating. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole. The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible, however testing may be required to verify it. The ACME thread on the CD11A3BR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides pull-out protection for your cable so no damage is caused.
