The Red Lion PAXDP000 PAX series panel meter is a dual process input meter. It has a 5 digit, red LED display in a 1/8 DIN housing. This panel meter can accommodate two 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC input signals, with the ability to scale and display each one separately. Math functions can also be applied to the two signals. Separate option cards provide alarms, comms, or retransmitted analog output for the meter. The meter's update rate can be chosen by the user. The range of 5 to 105 updates a second allows the user to adjust the settings for the application. AC powered

This panel meter features a MAX and MIN reading memory with a capture time that is programmable. The signal totalizer is used for calculating a time-input product or accumulate batch operations. Four setpoint outputs are provided by optional digital output cards. Option cards can also provide communication and bus capability. Modbus is the standard communication protocol, however RS232, RS485, DeviceNet and Profibus option cards can be used as well. A computer can also remotely control the meter's outputs if needed. An option card can also provide a linear DC output signal, with 20 mA or 10 V signals. The keypad has 5 function keys, with 3 of them being programmable. After setup the parameters can be completely locked, or with only the setpoint values available. This unit is not intended to directly command motors, valves or actuators without safeguards. Any option cards are all field upgradeable.
