The Red Lion PAXCK100 PAX series panel meter is a timer with real-time clock capability. It has a 6 digit, green LED display in a 1/8 DIN housing. Communication and bus capabilities is done by option cards, which includes RS232, RS485, Modbus, DeviceNet, and Profibus-DP. AC powered. Switch contacts or CMOS & TTL circuit outputs are both examples of possible input sources. There are 5 function keys on the front panel; three are programmable to meet the needs of the application. Four setpoint outputs can be provided through the use of an optional digital output card.

This meter also works as an elapsed or preset timer as well as a clock, with both operations being in use at the same time. The display indicates four different parameters, including the timer, count, date, and real time clock. There are two inputs with 23 timing ranges, with the ability to be a dual or quad output timer through the use of an option card. When used as a clock, the time can be shown in 12 or 24 hour formatting. Either format can indicate hours and minutes, or hours, minutes, and seconds. The 12 hour format has the option to show AM or PM. When displaying the date, it can show the month, day, and year. Date or time changes for leap years or Daylight Savings Time are automatically configured. When using multiple PAXCK units, they have the ability to sync up with each other, so all meters can indicate the same time throughout the workplace. The battery operated time clock card will continue to show the current time even without the use of main power.
