The Red Lion C48CB108 C48 series panel meter is a batch counter with 1 NPN OC & 2 relay outputs. It features a 2 line, 6 digit, transmissive LCD display with backlighting and a 1/16 DIN housing. The main process counter has dual presets and the secondary counter has one preset. The secondary counter is utilized as a batch or total counter. The backlit display shows a red readout on the main line and a green readout on the secondary line. The resistance to noise interference makes it perfect for industrial use. AC powered.

There are nine programmable counting modes & the unit can be programmed to register counts on both edges of the input signal. Programming modes & data values, changing the display, and resetting functions can all be done through the buttons on the front. User inputs can be sinking (active low) or sourcing (active high) through a single plug jumper. It features relay outputs for Output 2 and Output 3. Output 1 is a solid-state NPN current sinking, open collector output. Output 1 and Output 2 are for the primary process counter, while Output 3 is for the secondary batch or total counter. Two way communication with a printer, computer, or other device is possible with the RS-485 serial communication interface.
