ILME Multi-Pin Rectangular Inserts

The wide variety of ILME rectangular inserts offered through Major Electronix are available in a wide variety of styles and sizes, with a range of pin counts to fit any application. These rectangular inserts are made from glass reinforced thermoplastic, which is self extinguishing. They fit inside a compatible rectangular base, which corresponds to the size of the insert. Conductor connection is possible through a screw, spring or crimp pins. Crimp pins are sold separately. Squich spring inserts have actuator buttons and no need for a wiring tool. The contact points on the inserts are numbered on both sides, with the inserts having as few as three contacts or as many as 108. They are made to perform in temperatures up to 125 C (257 F) with high temp versions being able to work up to 180 C. There are also inserts made for the double size bases and hoods. These male or female inserts meet the standards for a number of certifications, including UL, CSA, CCC, GL and GOST, with most all of them meeting the Low Voltage Directive. The rectangular multipole inserts are useful in a number of applications including electronics, machinery, control equipment and electrical panels.
