The Red Lion N-Tron
® Series ESERV-M12T is an Industrial Modbus Ethernet to Serial Gateway. It features two serial ports and one 10/100BaseTX RJ-45 port. The ESERV-M12T creates a communication bridge with Modbus RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 networks. The serial ports are accessible through a LAN or WAN using Direct IP Mode connections. The 10/100BaseTX port on the ESERV-M12T is auto-detecting. Software supplies Modbus messaging priority control and also permits management via TCP/IP client sessions. Housed in a compact IP30 DIN-Rail case, the ESERV-M12T can support serial data rates up to 230kbps and can perform with a range of DC voltages. The ESERV-M12T also features pluggable terminal block connectors. An external power supply is also needed, which is sold separately.
