The 63-34043, part of the Meltric Decontactor series of circular power connectors, provides optimum safety by getting rid of any contact with possible arc flash. This switch rated connector also has plug and play capability for a quick and easy disconnect, creating an efficient operation by minimizing downtime. It's a more cost effective solution, due to the durable construction which lowers replacement costs. The lightweight design of the DSN series won't take up unnecessary space. This connector is ideal for wet or washdown applications in industrial environments when attached to the corresponding male inlet, thanks to the watertight assembly.
Safety shutter: Covers over contacts before plug is removed to prevent contact with active components. Shutter is opened when the compatible plug is inserted
Spring loaded contacts: Ensures that the connection has the proper amount of contact pressure. Balances out variations in construction and stands up to wear and tear
Quick break mechanism: Disconnect by pushing the button, which breaks the circuit and detaches the plug.
Enclosed arc chamber: Keeps any chance of an arc flash contained inside. Contacts are kept inside the enclosure.
Spring assisted terminals: Spring ring provides pressure on the screw terminal and conductor to create a more secure connection
