The 6318125K16 is part of the Meltric Decontactor series, which ensures the most safety by eliminating exposure to arc flash. The durable construction is made to last with fewer replacements, for a more cost effective solution. The lightweight and compact design of the DSN series ensures that there is no wasted space. Coupled with the appropriate female receptacle, this plug is perfect for wet or washdown applications in industrial environments, due to the watertight construction. These connectors also have plug and play capability for a quick and easy disconnect, making for more efficient operation by creating less downtime. The 63-18125-K16 replaces the 63-18165, the main difference being that the contacts been rekeyed from position 16 to position 12, changing their orientation. The housing also has a color coded yellow gasket and label to easily identify the voltage. This new model is not compatible with the older position 16 female receptacle.
Silver nickel contacts: 85% silver, 15% nickel combination. Creates a durable and highly conductive contact point. Oxidation will not greatly affect its contact resistance or performance. Withstands repeated connecting and disconnecting
Lockout tagout capability: A 5/16" hole in the plug housing makes it simple to use a padlock on the plug if necessary, in order to keep it from being inserted into a receptacle.
