The Macromatic THL-8024U-40 is an on delay Time Delay Relay. This encapsulated, solid state output relay has a universal input voltage of 24-240V AC & 12-48V DC. The timing ranges are digitally selected by 10 position binary DIP switch, from 0.1-102.3 seconds. The THL8024U40 has an output of 1A continuous & 10A inrush, which is ideal for high duty cycle and long life applications. The encasement of the unit is made for high demand applications and harsh conditions. The design is microprocessor-based to provide better functionality, and is perfect for OEM applications.

With the On Delay function, the time delay starts when the input voltage is introduced. The relay energizes after the time delay. The relay de-energizes when the input voltage is taken out, which also resets the time delay. Each DIP switch is labeled with a time increment. Move the necessary switches to the ON position and add up their labeled values to set the time delay. For example, to set the time delay for 2.5 seconds, the switches for 0.1, 0.8, & 1.6 would be moved to the ON position
