Description

The Macromatic TD-86121-40 is a Delayed Interval Time Delay Relay. This programmable plug-in relay has an input voltage of 240V AC at 50/60Hz and 10A DPDT output contacts. The OFF and ON timing ranges are digitally selected by two sets of 10 position binary DIP switches, from 0.1 to 102.3 seconds. The TD8612140 uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. It features an LED indicator to show the current status of the relay. It shows green when the power is on, and red once the relay is energized. Note: Image is for reference, actual part may differ

With Delayed Interval, the OFF time delay starts along with the input voltage. After that, the ON time delay starts and the relay is energized for the duration of the time delay. When the ON time delay finishes, the relay de-energizes. The input voltage has to be re-introduced to restart the cycle. Each DIP switch is labeled with a time increment. Move the necessary switches to the ON position and add up their labeled values to set the time delay for both the OFF and ON cycles. For example, to set the time delay for 2.5 seconds, the switches for 0.1, 0.8, & 1.6 would be moved to the ON position.
