The Macromatic TD-81522-40 is a Single Shot Time Delay Relay. This programmable plug-in relay has an input voltage of 120V AC/DC at 50/60Hz and 10A DPDT output contacts. The timing ranges are digitally selected by 10 position binary DIP switch, from 0.1 to 102.3 seconds. The TD8152240 uses an 11 pin 70170-D octal socket. With the Single Shot function, the relay energizes though the use of a trigger, which also starts the time delay. The relay de-energizes after the time delay and the trigger needs to be applied again to re-energize. Input voltage must already be in place before the trigger is applied. Each DIP switch is labeled with a time increment. Move the necessary switches to the ON position and add up their labeled values to set the time delay. For example, to set the time delay for 2.5 seconds, the switches for 0.1, 0.8, & 1.6 would be moved to the ON position.
