The Macromatic TCF8D100 is an over temperature & seal leak relay. This 11 Pin plug-in relay has an input voltage of 24V . This inner door mounted relay is made to monitor for leaks in seals, as well as over temperature issues. It has an output of 7A SPDT & SPNO and is made for submersible pumps that detect leaks with resistance sensing. Three different connection methods include one probe to ground, two probes to ground, or probe to probe. The housing style allows the relay to be mounted and used without needing to open the door. Includes 11 pin OR11-PC back mounted socket.

The relay is connected to a thermal switch in the pump motor to check for over temperature problems. The resistance sensing probe is also connected to the relay to check for seal leaks. There are isolated output contacts for overheating and for seal leaks. The over temperature point is set at 5K ohms, and the seal leak sensitivity ranges from 4.7K to 100K ohms. When the input voltage is introduced and there are no errors, the over temperature relay is energized and the seal leak relay is not. Both LEDs are green. If overheating occurs, the over temperature relay de-energizes and the TEMP LED is red. When the overheating has been corrected, the relay resets automatically or manually. A selector switch allows the user to choose between manual or automatic reset. In the event of a seal leak, when the resistance goes below the sensitivity point on the relay, the seal leak relay energizes & the SEAL LED is red. The sensitivity point is adjustable using the low profile knob in top of the relay.
