Description

The Macromatic TCF7E is an over temperature & seal leak relay. This 11 Pin plug-in relay has an input voltage of 24V AC/DC. This door mounted relay is made to monitor for leaks in submersible pump seals, as well as over temperature issues. It has an output of 7A and is made for pumps that find leaks with float type detection. The flange housing style allows the relay to be mounted and used without needing to open the door. LEDs indicate the status. Includes 11 pin SR6P-M11G back mounted socket. Note: Image is for reference, actual part may differ

The relay is connected to a thermal switch in the pump motor to check for over temperature problems. An N.C. float switch in the leakage sensor is also connected to the relay to check for seal leaks. There is one output contact for overheating and one for seal leaks, which are isolated. The resistance setting is at 5K ohms. When the input voltage is introduced, and there are no errors, the over temperature & seal leak relays are energized. The LEDs are green. If overheating occurs, the over temperature relay de-energizes and the TEMP LED is red. Once the overheating has been corrected, the relay resets automatically or manually. A selector switch allows the user to choose between manual or automatic reset. Manual reset takes place by pushing the button on top. In the event of a seal leak, when the leakage sensor opens, the seal leak relay de-energizes & the SEAL LED is red.
