The Macromatic SFFAD7C100 is a seal leak relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has an input voltage of 24V AC/DC. It is a deadfront, inner door mounted, dual channel relay made to monitor for leaks in submersible pump seals and has two 5A SPNO outputs. The sensitivity is adjustable and LEDs on the top show the current status. The dual channel feature means that the relay can detect leaks for two pumps. Includes 8 pin SRP-M08G back mounted socket. The resistance is measured by probes that are inserted in the pump seal cavity. In the event of a leak, resistance between the probes and the connection is lowered by contaminating fluid that goes into the seal cavity. The relay energizes when the resistance goes below the preset sensitivity point and the LED is red. Otherwise, the LED is green as long as the input voltage is present.
