Description

The Macromatic PLP575 is a three phase monitor relay that checks for phase reversal and phase loss. This 8 pin plug in relay has a monitored voltage of 460-600V, with an output of 10A SPDT. The LED on top will be green if everything is functioning correctly. The LED will glows or blink red if the relay finds an error. The diagram on top of the unit shows how the LED will indicate the current status. The PLP575 uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. Note: Image is an approximation. Actual part may differ.

This unit protects your equipment from phase reversal or phase loss through the use of "True RMS voltage measurement". Analog to digital sensing circuitry in True RMS voltage measurement allows the relay to provide greater precision in monitoring phases and voltages. If a phase is lost, the unit can still monitor all the voltages while indicating the fault, adding to the overall protection. If the system voltage is above 300V, this relay should be used with a 600V rated socket. These relays are perfect for heavy duty applications, such as in the mining or petrochemical industries. This electrical relay is energized once the right voltage is introduced, as long as the phases remain in the correct order. If it detects a phase loss or reversal, the unit will de-energize. Once the error is fixed, the relay will energize again without needing any manual reset.
