The Macromatic PC1MDUL is a multi-detection phase monitor relay with communication capability. This DIN-Rail mount relay has a monitored voltage range of 190-600V. It monitors against 5 different types of phase errors and has an output of 5A SPDT. The LED shows the current status or specifies a particular phase error. Undervoltage trip point, trip delay, restart delay, unbalance trip point, and line-to-line voltage are all adjustable via turn knobs. The PC1MDUL features a 60 mm wide housing which is mountable on a 35mm DIN-Rail. It communicates through Modbus TCP for status and measurement updates in real time.

The PC1MDUL energizes when the line voltage is applied and the phase rotation is correct. It de-energizes (after a trip delay) if a fault is detected. The relay will energize again automatically once the fault is corrected. It can be re-energized manually if a momentary normally closed switch is attached to terminals 5 & 6.
This relay is ideal for automation applications that use a connected control system to monitor three-phase equipment. The PC1MDUL uses "True RMS voltage measurement" which gives more precise monitoring of phases and voltages. Besides mounting on a DIN-Rail, this relay can also be panel mounted using two #8 screws inserted through extended clips on the back of the housing. It can be replaced without removing wires due to the pluggable terminal blocks on the input and output sides.
