Description

The Macromatic PAP208 is a three phase monitor relay. This 8 pin plug in relay has a nominal voltage of 208V. It monitors against phase reversal, phase loss and undervoltage with an output of 10A SPDT. It features an LED that glows green when everything is functioning correctly and glows or blinks red when an error is detected. The diagram on top of the relay depicts how the LED will indicate the current status. The PAP208 uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. Note: Image is an approximation. Actual part may differ.

As part of the PAP series, the PAP208 utilizes "True RMS voltage measurement". True RMS voltage measurement uses analog to digital sensing circuitry to provide more precise monitoring of phases and voltages. A unique feature in the PAP208 is that even if a phase is lost, it can still monitor all the voltages while indicating the fault. When the phases are detected in the right order without going below the undervoltage, the unit is energized. Undervoltage is adjustable from 75-95% of the nominal voltage. The unit is de-energized after a short time delay when any one of these phase errors is detected, and will stay in that mode until the error is fixed.
