The Macromatic ARP120A3 is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has a control voltage of 120V with an output of 10A DPDT cross wired. This duplexor relay is used in situations where load usage alternates between 2 loads and when added load capacity is needed. This relay is used with a control switch, which starts the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate. The ARP120A3 features 2 LEDs that indicate which load energizes first. It uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket.
