The Macromatic ARP012A5 is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has a control voltage of 12V with a 10A DPDT cross wired output. This relay is used for applications in which the run time of two loads needs to be equalized and when added load capacity is needed. It uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. A control switch starts the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate. The ARP012A5 has 2 LED indicators that show which load energizes first.
