The Macromatic ARP012A3 is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has a control voltage of 12V with a 10A DPDT cross wired output. This relay is used in situations where the run time of two loads needs to be equalized and when added load capacity is needed. The ARP012A3 features 2 LEDs that indicate which load energizes first. It uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. A control switch starts the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate.
