The Macromatic ARF120A3R is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin inner door mounted relay has a control voltage of 120V with a 10A DPDT cross wired output. This relay is used in situations where the run time of two loads needs to be equalized and added load capacity is necessary. It features a flange enclosure so it can be attached to an inner door. This way the relay can be accessed without having to open the door. Comes with an 8 pin back mounted socket.

The ARF120A3R features 2 LED indicators to display the status of the relay. The unit also has a low profile selector switch to lock into one load, so that load energizes first after the lead switch closes, or switch between the two. This can help to even out load usage if one ends up being favored more than the other. A control switch initiates the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate.
